Legend of Zelda Wii U Timeline Placement and Story Not Final

Hey guys, I wanted to let you in on some pretty crazy news in regards to the Legend of Zelda Wii U game coming out in what sounds like 2014 or 2016. I would estimate it at closer to 2016 rather than having the Legend of Zelda Wii U game come out in 2014 like it was planned. But that’s for another time.

The real information about the Legend of Zelda Wii U game is that the story nor the timeline placement has been set for the game. In fact it’s not even finalized. It sounds like to me that they seem to have themselves stuck between a rock and hard place. Or just a snag in the crossroads.

We are well aware by now that Nintendo was heavily considering showing off Zelda U at this years E3, and while we know they are keeping it in their back pocket as an ace in the hole reveal, Eiji Aonuma doesn’t seem to pointing to the game being as far along as we would think at this point.

Eiji Aonuma said in an interview,”Honestly it’s not finalized yet, where in the Zelda universe this story will land. We’re exploring different directions that we can take this story at this point, so there’s unfortunately nothing I can share from that perspective.

We all know Nintendo develops gameplay first, so story not being finalized shouldn’t raise any red flags in terms of the progression of development. Of course, this doesn’t mean they aren’t far along in production after all. It just means they may be at a crossroads with the story and haven’t decided what exact direction to take it in to wrap the whole thing up. At this stage all we really know is the game is at least ready to be shown, which should imply the art direction and general gameplay is complete.

So before you guys go off and get all upset, there’s no need for any of that. They’re just trying to figure out where they want to go with the story and where it should go in the one and only Legend of Zelda timeline.

That’s all I have for you guys as far as any information on the Legend of Zelda Wii U timeline placement and story goes. Make sure to check back for new stuff often just like the Legend of Zelda Wii U game and other Legend of Zelda information.
